Hi, I’m Jo — and six months ago I didn’t know what a candlestick was.

I’m a mum, which means I’m time poor and looking for a way to being financial relief to my family.

I’ve been learning for six months now. I’m not a millionaire. I’m not a guru. I haven’t “cracked the code” or found a secret strategy hedge funds don’t want you to know about. What I have done is make a lot of mistakes, ask a lot of questions, spend way too many nap times on TradingView, and slowly slowly start to understand how markets actually work.

From Zero to Trader exists because I couldn’t find the resource I actually needed when I started.

Everything out there felt like it was written for people who already knew what they were doing, or it was trying to sell me something, or it was so dry I fell asleep reading it. I wanted something real. Something that admitted trading is hard and confusing and sometimes you get it completely wrong. Something written by someone in the thick of it, not someone looking back from a yacht.

Come along for the ride. It’s chaotic, it’s exciting, and I promise to never pretend I know more than I do.
